Windy Furrows

Post by Rashaskool »

This is the deck that has actually started winning for me lol. It's called windy furrows, but i have no idea why. also, it's theme tune is nearly irrelevant. But it's a lovely song nonetheless. Windy city - Silky Silky love ;P

x 3 - Togami, the Hitman
x 3 - Sables Duress

x 4 - Ghost Jellyfish
x 2 - Hypnotic Sway
x 1 - Shiria
x 2 - Kraken Eleganto
x 4 - Wormhole

x 4 - Skylia
x 4 - Shine Missile
x 3 - Engorica

x 3 - Free From Oppression
x 3 - Morning Glory

x 4 - Regain Dalia

The basic idea is to get out the polaroids to build up a solid defense that is hard to move around, whilst using jelly to pick at their hand. After that I use spells like sway and wormhole to bide for time or pick off annoying early game creatures.

I want to either get togami or morning out by t5 to make myself more of a threat to the opponent, rather than something that just gets in the way. That way, i have either more ability to blocker stall or a reduction for sables etc.

When Sables does come, she does two things. The first thing is to clear away any annoying cards with the less that 3k cutoff. The second thing she does is destroy my own shine missles. This allows me to exhaust anything that the opponent has left in play and then hopefully destroy it with skylia.

Regain Dalia is a nice way of stalling even more, as well as increasing my resource gain, seeing as my grid eventually ends up in my tempo :3

Wormhole serves me more as a "reuse sables" than a way of removing my opponents creatures, however any exhausted bigguns are there for the killing xD

Shiria makes my wormholeing doubly mean, allowing me to bounce back one of my weenies before i bounce and use sables (only at high tempo) meaning that I dont actually lose as much as they do (in fact, considering my weenies, i gain from it)

Kraken is my finisher of choice. Not because it does it quickly or is any more effective, it's just that when my opponent has no hand, he/she cannot respond to my attacks. Nor can he do anything than use the one card he/she draws in her next turn. Kraken helps enforce a lockdown that ultimately, is effectively Chaos Fractals equivalent of bolmeteus dragon.

The deck is still a work in progress, but seeing as i feel most comfortable with it as it is, im going to be updating it very slowly, and only in response to things that annoy it. The 4 x of cards are to make me feel safe in the foggy world of the fractal :3

Elemental Warmage Rainboa.

Yeah the decks a moving blocker wall with a lot of discard. Since that third slot is filled with Blockers you might want to try moving Togami to Spotter Dragon or Turquoise Temper. (or Even Genesis)

Do you think you're really making use of the space that Shiria is occupying? I don't think you have enough Spells to make her pose much of a threat and could probably be something else more useful like Black Carpet or even Interpret Coda.

I relooked and having 4 Regain Dalias is just hmmm...

Mammoth should find his way here somehow. Maybe over 1 Regalia and that single Shiria.
