CCC#3! (Complete)

Results here.
In this CCC the art I have made is for a Light/Water Spell.
  • The card effect you are to create is going to for the Card Art below.
    Your entry must include Cost, Flavor text [Spells also have Flavor Texts] and also mention the Card Effect.
    You must try to not let it be underpowered or overpowered, the real challenge is to create a card which reflects the art given.
Notice: I have created to art to feature two current Duel Masters creatures in the background. It is up to you to refer to them in anyway/anyplace in your card design but it is not compulsory.

In the end the person who creates the best combination of theme and effect which at the same time reflects the card art the best, will win.

Non-participants can give support to entries by the contestants, if the contestants decide to take the support and end up winning in addition to the "Create a Card Contest Winner" achievement that will be added to the KP profile of the winner another achievement will also be added to the KP profile of the supporter as "Create a card Contest Winner (for Support)". Also note there will be no deduction for taking support, we encourage it.

Below is the Art that your card effect is going to be based around, it will be re-edited and the winning card effect will be added to it along with the winners name under the image.

Note: Only one entry per person without alternate rulings will be judged. Participants are allowed to edit their submissions after posting them till the 25th of June after which the topic will be locked for judgement. The judges for this CCC will be Kyuukei and myself.

Does the spell have something to do with psychic creatures or something because of the electrifying artwork? :?

Some interesting facts:

1) I started off with a mono dark deck.
2) Almost all my decks have dragons.
3) Annihilation is defined as "total destruction" or "complete obliteration" of an object.
4) Vice Leader of Royal League.

Well this sort of card art framing is common for future DM cards [especially for Spells and Gears]. If you feel inspired by it you are free to use concepts of it in your card design.

Also you can use the Duel Masters Wikia pages for Water Civilization and Light Civilization to help you design your card. Also you can click here to see the previous winning cards.

Rules Text:
- Shield trigger [you may cast this spell for no cost when your opponent breaks a shield, and the revealed shield is this card]
- When you cast this spell, choose upto 2 of your opponent's creatures from the battle zone. If those two creatures have "Dragons" in their race, put the top two cards from your deck in your shield zone facing down, then you may choose upto two of your opponent's cards in his mana zone and send them to the owner's hand. If those two chosen creatures that has "Dragons" in their race are fire cards, then you may send two creatures from the battlezone to their owner's hand as well.

Name- The Awakened Spirit Storm

Civilisation- Light/Water

Cost- 6

Rules Text-
- (This spell is put into your mana zone tapped.)
- Both players put all their creatures in their battle zone into their shields face down. Afterwards, the caster chooses a number from one to five. Flip that many shields of your opponent. They may summon non-evolution creatures from among them for no cost. The other shields remain flipped. Then flip the same number of your shields. You may also summon non-evolution creatures from among them for no cost. The other shields remain flipped.

Flavour Text- "The Dragons crushed us, but they couldn't crush our spirits"- Petrova, Channeler of the Suns




I think this would be the perfect spell to utilize all the shield manipulation of the water and light civilisations.
