Welcome to the Blockhead Tourney!

This tourney is going to be slightly different from your usual tourneys, basically all the contestants will have their own Block-head Avatars which they have to make and submit when they register.

To make your Blockhead avatar go to the following link : http://www.reasonablyclever.com/blockhead/flash/blockhead.swf. Making the avatar is pretty simple, just remember to make your avatar on a white background.

Once you have made your avatar you have to use 'print screen', just like the instructions state, and then cutout and save the big version image. Once the image is saved, upload it somewhere ( e.g http://tinypic.com/ ) and of course post the image (or its link) in this topic when you register. Your Blockhead will displayed in the pairings post throughout the course of the tourney.

For those having difficulty using Paint to crop the image:
  • Step 1: Once you have made the blockhead, make sure the background is white and press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (sometimes written as PRTSC).
    Step 2: Open Paint
Step 3: Press CTRL + V to paste the image you Print Screen'd.
Step 4: Make a box (the ones with the dotted lines) around the Blockhead to cover just the blockhead.
Step 5: If you have the new Paint the windows 7 one (if not skip to step 6) then press the Crop button from the toolbar (this will resize the canvas to what you have selected with the box), save the image, upload and post link here.
Step 6: Cut the selected part by pressing CTRL + X (or right click>cut or something) then move on to step 7.
Step 7: Close paint without saving, and open another blank new Paint window (or you can press CTRL + N, no need to save).
Step 8: In the new Paint press CTRL + V to paste (or paste some other way).
Step 9: Now since most of the time Paint would leave a huge white area on the sides you have to make the canvas smaller, to do this scroll down and to the left (if there is space to scroll) then at the end of the image in the Lower Right Corner click, then you will see a little white box thingy, click + drag it to make the canvas smaller. Make it small enough to just fit the blockhead. Save the image, upload, post link here.

This tourney is going to have a very limited number of players, around 8 to 12, first come first serve. You will not be considered registered till you have submitted the link to your avatar image.

As for the dueling, it will be Non-fixed decks with KC+ 2/3 Format. The achievement will be added and displayed on the winners KP Profile.

Registrations are now open!

1. Palas

2. Rashaskool

Is "paint" good for a graphic program? I know it's lame, but I don't have something else.

I actually preferred the bigger size one (as I said in the main post) since to resize I can easily use [imgr] tag, but thumbnail is fine for now since I have something a little different planned for next round.
