Just as triggers and topdecks can induce rage, they can cause times where they save your ass significantly.

Share those times here.

There's not enough words for me xD I dont run many triggers and all but when i do trigger(and they do something) i feel amazing xD

Still i'll share one of the situations i saved my ass. Opp had 4 creatures ( 2 Deadly , 1 rikabu 1 magnus) i had only 1 shield and 1magris on the field.

Opp attacks with Magnus. i trigger soulswap use it on magris to bring skysword to the field and then when he attacked with his deadly i triggered Scrapper xP

Felt awesomly ^^

Why is this topic in spam when it's DM related? ;/....Anyway as far as good luck for me, I had plenty, tho' admittedly not really in the form of triggers. I don't tend to use them that much really, my style seems to have evolved in that direction, I generally don't like counting on it for one, and on the other, the effects are not as powerful as I want them.

Nonetheless, I had some epic triggering times, especially since my P3 pretty much has enough triggers...

I guess especially in the early days, it was mainly about Day triggering, but also Swapping a Zardia and stuff like that. But seriously, Day triggers are SO awesome...Just seeing the field go up in smoke instantly. I think Day Triggers are the coolest and responsible for MOST awesome scenarios and triggering on KP really, and they had a good, long time to do it in.

I know for instance PoH had a superb one against Tom for a ranked duel (he had NO MANA but triggered Day to wipe the field AND THEN a Locomotiver to win, wtflol) as well as PoL had plenty, I am sure.

Ofc, Soulswap did a lot for me, usually a REALLY critical defense, given how little I use it, so for a Skysword, or a Fortress Shell, Deformer, and so forth...

I probably had much more awesome times triggering, but I just can't remember them sadly, and I didn't really play that much DM in my life, really...

Oh right, UPHEAVAL is fun when I did it too, especially in English DM. Instant game turnabout.

For full JP I guess I prefer triggers that summon creatures, not actual triggers per se, more like summon spells, so Inferno Gate, Memories, Light Gate, and so forth (not so much Heaven's Gate I guess). They seem to me to offer the highest promise for awesome chains and sparks flying about...

I like certain ST creatures later in the game too I guess...

Oh shit, topdecks...Man, can't remember specific times, it's been so many. Usually all my topdecks are useful. But I guess it goes back to my P3, where I could often just SENSE I would get the card I want, such as Alshia, Soulswap or Day to save my ass. Other than that idk much else...maybe Fists of Forever. And it never came up on TCO.

But as the "Final Form" of my answer, I guess I'll just say that I consider the best triggering to be the one that I do it to myself, because when I get down to it, I can't trust other people to involve themselves in the kind of awesome that I deserve. ^_^b

Not really Duelmaster related but if you ever find me and duel me on CC just wait for this

Code: Select all

ZeroVash stands Genocide Jack. (11000 Power)
ZeroVash draws a card. (5 cards in hand.)
ZeroVash rides Asura Kaiser from his Hand.
ZeroVash rests Asura Kaiser. (11000 Power)
ZeroVash's Asura Kaiser (11000 Power) attacks [OMA]Tempestas007's Mr. Invincible (10000 Power).
[OMA]Tempestas007 calls Cannon Ball as a Guardian. (10000 Shield)
<[OMA]Tempestas007> all

//At this point my Kaiser was at 11k and his Invincible was at 20k . The attack wouldnt go trough.

Code: Select all

[Drive Check] - ZeroVash reveals Red Lightning. Critical Trigger (+5000 Power, +1 Critical)

<ZeroVash> all vg
//With the first Drive i triggered a critical therefore Kaiser attack went up to 16k and damage +1. Things were going good ^^

Code: Select all

[Drive Check] - ZeroVash reveals Red Lightning. Critical Trigger (+5000 Power, +1 Critical)

<ZeroVash> all vg
//With the Second drive i triggered another critical (i only have 4 tough) and Kaiser attack went up to 21k dealing 3 damage to CB .

Code: Select all

[OMA]Tempestas007 has left the table.

LMFAO!!

I never...and I mean fucking NEVER!!!....

...would have imagined you to ever ragequit a game ever, CB.

I am still a bit shocked really, you always seemed too dignified for it, so it takes quite something to make YOU ragequit, lol.

That's why, in all honesty, I found that to be too precious and just downright priceless <3.

*hugs CB*

Never thought CB would rage quit. He usually asks for rematches again and again until he gets a win. Oh well.

/me pats CB.

No, I don't.

And I was already upset at that time, so instead of blowing up at ZV, I just left.

Yes, I can totally relate to that, had a few of those myself when I was frustrated from life and the DM just not helped. This includes some ragequits, especially with people I know ;(.

Ofc, what you did was the wiser choice nonetheless. It's just that it was strange seeing that "sensitive" side of you, it was cute in sort of a way too, with you usually being the Dam(n) Burst Bear Monk.

You have luck issues, we all know that, and tbh I have to start playing more to see how well I sit in that department after all.

*hugs CB*
