Snow Fight Chaos 2014

Post by Mikara »

The Rules of Snow Fight are fairly simple.

In order to participate in the Snow Fight event, all duels must occur in EVT (event) format. This way we can track your snow fight victories in order to give you your new snow fight rank and to let other duelists know what they are getting into.

The format itself is fairly basic and aside from these additions, all other standard rules still apply
1. Only creatures with the effect Snowball can damage an opponents grid.
2. If an opponent is hit with a Snowball they may select one creature of their own and give it [Snowball].

Clarifications
1. Non-snowballs can still attack grid.
2. You can still burn grid normally to lower opponent's grid.
In addition to those two rules you will have access to a repitoire of new cards

Dama Blanche:
Creature, Affinity, Ice
Cost 3
Power: 3000
Set: Promos
Effect: [Event Only] [Snowball] (a creature with Snowball has [Born Ready], Power 5000+: [Damage 2], Power 12000: [Damage 3], can't be exhausted by your opponent's card effects, and is destroyed after it damages your opponent's grid.)

Hat Matrix:
Rune, Affinity, Ice
Cost 2
Set: Promos
Effect: [Event Only] [Deplete 4]: Choose one of your creatures in the conflict that has [Snowball]. That creature gets +5000 power, and "When this creature is blocked, it deals one damage to your opponent's grid" and [Intimidate].

Ava Lancha:
Rune, Affinity, Ice
Cost 2
Set: Promos
Effect: [Event only] [Deplete 3]. Choose a creature in the conflict. That creature gets [SnowBall]

Snow Roller:
Spell, Affinity, Ice
Cost 4
Set: Promos
Effect: [Event Only] Choose one of the following effects: Search your deck, you may take a creature with [Snowball] effect from your deck and put it into your hand, then shuffle your deck OR Choose one of your creatures in the conflict with [Snowball] and double that creature's power.

Finally as a reward for your snowball victories, you will be able to claim new titles and emblems to show off your snowball throwing skills

Rank 1 Mitten Warmer
Win five snowfights

Rank 2 Abominable
Win ten snowfights

Rank 3 Throwing Star
Win 20 snowfights

There are many strategies to success! Will you build the best snow fort, perhaps your army of snowmen will crush your opponent, or maybe youll become the wildest snow ball slinger around. Enjoy the winter fun while it lasts!
