Howling Straits

When I played it, it said to choose a card for EM Field. Then, I just picked my Fire creature anyway and it asked to choose a creature for Howling Straits and when I clicked the creature, it kept saying to choose another target or /end if you had no other targets and just kept asking me so I /end and it didn't cause any issues later in the duels. Also, it could have been that Cobalt doesn't register and so the power of Sienna Startle was really only registered as 3.5k and I wasn't able to kill the 5k creature, which is why it kept asking to choose another or /end.
