Play Guide:

This deck, a 'Standard' combination of Wind's capacity for a quick swarm, and Ice's ability to negate defenses and ensure a quick kill, tends to function in the risky but often rewarding way of simply never engaging the enemy unless absolutely necessary. The deck has the alternatives of accelerating into heavy hitters if the opponent has stronger defenses, or of rapidly swarming in the case of opponents who do not have much way of handling that type of overwhelm. The creatures allow it to 'breeze' through quite quickly even when confronted with blockers, or it can hold a bit defensively for a short time, until it can effectively counter a defense wall either by other means, or by using multiple abilities at once. The slowdown methods within the deck help to buy time, and prevent the deck's tendency to rapidly put all its resources into one strategy, from backfiring. One must be careful still, though, since the deck does not defend too much, itself, and when faced with heavy attacks, is sometimes forced to use the cards it normally uses to break through defenses, to stall instead. This may leave the player with very little in reserve if the opponent has both attack and defense capability themselves. Fortunately most of the time, when used correctly, the deck corners the opponent swiftly and there is no need to worry about this.

Players who master this deck's flows can decide if they wish to play more of Victoria Gale and Linsay Buckler by reducing Hakkar and Switchblade Scarab. Other options include changing Hakkar entirely to Mirage Flight, which gives a bit more power and retaliation potential. This change is also often good when Indura is switched to Aegia Expi, since then it is easier to make creatures vulnerable to be attacked in the first place. Changing more than this, though, would normally suggest that the player would prefer a more defensive deck altogether and should either play pure Ice or try Water instead of Wind.

<ri> you don't have access to defool.exe?
<Wedjat> It would be an illegal operation.
