Play Guide:

This deck, a 'Standard' combination, brings together the notable merge of Fire's offense power and Earth's defense power, though in this case, 'defense' refers to the capacity for keeping creatures alive in the conflict, rather than protecting the Grid. This allows the player to build up a formidable strike force, and puts the opponent under heavy pressure to react, due to the high risk of sudden increases in the capacity to attack their Grid and win quickly. On top of that, the creatures can become very hard to bring down in battle, and can even slam into blockers very effectively, clearing the path for a swift and sometimes unavoidable onslaught. The idea that the best defense is a good offense works both ways, though, since without its own direct defenses, the biggest threat to a deck like this is another deck like this. Fortunately, the combination of these two elements is hard to surpass when it comes to this type of power output directly.

Players who find that they prefer to build up the forces before attacking can benefit from changes in the lower cost creatures of the deck, such as changing Tortuga Rumble to Steady Roots, and Brave Hessus J to Phoenix Alicia. Both these changes introduce cards that are better for stamina but not quite as good very early in the game. On the other hand, players who prefer to move very quickly may wish to change the Free from Oppression into Bareknuckle Stimulant and possibly change the Antlion Trap into Mark Arrow.

<ri> you don't have access to defool.exe?
<Wedjat> It would be an illegal operation.
